Covering our different sites in Belgium (mainly Gosselies,, Nivelles & Jumet), you will join a collaborative team of passionate change-makers. To strengthen our Supply Chain Team, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Supply Chain Specialist. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Based in Nivelles/Jumet, your role will be to:

  • Support the process ‘run the business’ of our current laboratories activities, but as well, support the expanding activities of our subsidiaries and manufacturing/CDMO facilities by: 
  • Being process owner for selected existing activities (transportation, planning, procurement, master data, etc.)  and develop the new emerging process (GMP, cold chain, export).
  • Make sure that the processes are respected to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
  • Listen and to analyze internal customers’ requirements 
  • Ability to critically identify waste in processes in order to simplify them, and deliver quick fix. 
  • Drive Change Management as well as solve problems 
  • Influence and coach the teams on the different options available to solve a problem, develop a solution, ensure the new process is in place and in use 
  • Have a helicopter view on processes and systems in place (and systems being introduced) 
  • Driving continuous improvement and performance measurement process improvement to increase our customer satisfaction (internal/external).Develop culture of continuous improvement.
  • Deploying the department vision and strategy to support the Univercells mission in liaison with other functions.

  • This person must be able to make the transversal links between different teams and functions within the holding and its subsidiaries.
  • Build a solid relationship with your internal clients to align with them on requirements. Communicate successfully in one-to-one or group in order to guarantee customer satisfaction.

  • Use the operational excellence culture to improve the processes within the team, bring innovative ways of working and technologies 
  • Coordinate the introduction of new methodologies, processes, governance 

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain/Manufacturing, within a pharmaceutical environment (GMP, cold chain is a plus)
  • Experience in Process Improvement and Change Management 
  • Experience with ERP and supply chain module (master data, planning/scheduling, sales and distribution, warehousing, transport, etc.) (Open ERP/Odoo is a plus) and good knowledge of Excel
  • Pragmatic, solution driven with a critical and analytical mind, you always pay attention to details
  • You have excellent communication and influencing skills 
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and able to lead a multitasking/multidisciplinary role
  • Excellent quality and organization of work (autonomy, methodological approach, structured & organized, behavior under pressure…)
  • Awareness in BPMN, and Agile methodology/Scrum framework 
  • Fluent English and French
