Univercells SA brings together a group of Belgian and foreign biotech affiliates working together under a common mission (the “Group”). Each affiliate operates a different part of the healthcare value chain, through a distinct business model: 


Univercells Technologies: Designs and produces cutting-edge manufacturing technologies for cell-based manufacturing, with an installed base in 70 countries.  

Exothera: A Contract Manufacturing and Development Organization (CDMO) for biologicals, mainly vaccines and viral vectors, with GMP production facilities in Belgium and offering process development and optimization services.  

Unizima: Delivers international project management of technology transfer, alongside operational support services (quality, supply chain, digital) and bioproduction training programs, as well as care centers and diagnostics surveillance centers.  

Quantoom Biosciences: Develops open, integrated and affordable manufacturing platforms (RNA as flagship) to enable the production of vaccines & therapeutics that scale from development to mass production.  

RLM Consulting: Provides regulatory advisory services with regards to innovative therapeutic approaches (recombinant DNA, cell and gene therapy, etc.)  



Univercells is strengthening its Corporate Communications Team and we offer a challenging position as Communications Specialist.

You will join a fabulous team and will contribute to the Corporate Communications mission, which is to improve awareness of Univercells, its products, services, and views for positively influencing its relationships with key stakeholders and ultimately driving business success.



RESPONSIBILITIES


As Corporate Communications Specialist, you play a crucial role in enhancing Univercells branding and image through expert communications skills and strategic planning. 

Your responsibilities will be:

  • In line with the communication strategy, you will maintain positive public awareness of Univercells through effective communication strategies across various communication channels and tools (including print, digital and social media).
  • You will be the driving force behind the digital communications strategy, ensuring consistency in the group messages across all channels.
  • You will collaborate with various teams such as Marketing, Business, HR, and affiliates at global level, on promotional activities to ensure communication strategies align with overall business objectives.
  • You develop, monitor « a digital media plan » and create engaging content to highlight Univercells offering and brand.
  • You track the success of communication initiatives and reporting on key metrics. This includes monitoring and analyzing media coverage and providing regular reports on social media engagement and effectiveness.
  • You stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, integrating them into communication strategies where appropriate.
  • You are part of the Corporate Communications team and report to the VP CorpCom. 




REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS



  • You hold a master’s degree in business, marketing, communication, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant working experience (ideally) within a B-to-B environment. 
  • You have a good knowledge and experience in digital communications (must have). You are an expert in content, social media management, website development SEO, SEA, and traffic management, Google analytics,…
  • You have a proven experience in managing agencies
  • You have experience in measuring impact of digital campaigns & communications activity
  • Having an international experience (USA, Europe, Asia, Africa…) is a must
  • You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and build strong relationships with both internal and external partners to deliver best-in-industry campaigns
  • You have good communication skills with an excellent knowledge of English
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • You are optimistic with a can-do attitude
