  • Exothera is a contract research, development, and manufacturing organization (CRDMO) dedicated to viral vector and nucleic acids production. As a technology-driven company, Exothera provides best-in-class bioprocessing expertise that capitalizes on the best and most innovative manufacturing technologies developed within the Univercells group. The company delivers accelerated discovery services and process development/optimization to rapidly reach GMP clinical and commercial production of viral vectors and nucleic acids. 
  • Unizima delivers international project management of technology transfer, alongside operational support services (quality, supply chain, digital) and bioproduction training programs, as well as care centers and diagnostics surveillance centers.
  • Quantoom Biosciences is reinventing mRNA production by developing an mRNA production platform (NfinityTM) from sequence up to mass production.
  • RLM Consulting thanks to a substantial knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and a strong scientific background, RLM Consulting provides international regulatory affairs support at all stages of product development, from discovery research through preclinical and clinical testing, up to and beyond submission of the dossier for marketing authorization.

MISSION:

As Strategy Associate, you will report to VP Venture Development. The strategy associate enables the strategists to look up, anticipate and define their strategy by developing a pack of tools, methodologies, and activities. The strategy associate acts as an internal trusted strategic advisor. He/she aligns all strategic horizons and levels to converge towards our common purposes. He/ she conducts strategic exercises to give a shared understanding of the situation, potential futures and an overall direction to the group. He/ she promotes a diligent, agile and open approach to strategy.


 Strong collaboration with our investment, Business development, and marketing teams, as well as strategy-makers at the affiliates level. 




RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop the overall strategy roadmap based on network scenario planning, envisioning and back casting 
  • Coordinate and integrate the different strategic levels (corporate, business and functions) across the group for a cohesive and value-adding strategy roadmap. 
  • Enable strategists (CXO, VP, Heads of) on their workstreams (GTM, Digital, Innovation, M&A&D,…) by preparing materials, socializing opportunities, building toolbox and methodology, designing strategy-making process, conducting gap analysis and delivering recommendation
  • Actively contribute to strategy-making workstreams by planning them, conducting workshops and interviews, collecting information, evaluating strategies, delivering reports and presentations for senior management and external parties
  • Think in terms of systems and operational excellence to make strategy a living and agile discipline that generates value 
  • Act as a sounding board and trusted advisors to our internal network, i.e. sense where the group needs strategy team support and prioritize our intervention



QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:


  • Masters Degree
  • 4-6 years experience in strategy consulting; in-house strategy or ; or 0 to 1 year post MBA
  • Ability to form simple, cohesive, persuasive and data driven arguments; communicate with impact – both presented (ppt) and written (memos).
  • Experience in managing multiple partners to deliver different workstreams at one time, from workplan through to findings and implications, in a strategy consulting-like context
  • Strong sense of observation, inventive & critical mindset, curiosity and problem-solving skills
  • Proactivity, flexibility, work organizational skills; Comfort with balancing across multiple ongoing projects and initiatives
  • Ability to work independently to drive to implications and recommendations
  • Capability to socialize and rapidly demonstrate value in order to integrate and work in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams; 
  • Experience working directly with C-suite or senior leadership 
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); other relevant languages is a plus
  • Ability to perform analysis with advanced Excel skills
  • Scientific background, with an understanding of biopharma/biotech and the broader healthcare industry is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial experience is a plus
